Natchez Municipal Court Cases

Wednesday, April 27

Chadrich A. Watson, 23, charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage to attended vehicle, DUI first offense test results and failure to maintain insurance proof in vehicle. Case dismissed on motion of defense’s counsel. Prosecutor not aware of trail setting, nor was defense or clerk.

Tanya Liggett, 18, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Bria Collier, 18, charged with shoplifting — first offense. Case remanded to files subject to plea of co-defendant.

Heather Heathcoat, 25, charged with shoplifting — first offense. Case remanded to files subject to plea of co-defendant.

Tommy Earl Heathcoat, 31, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Issac Lewis Glenn, 45, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days with 25 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for five days served. No fine assessed.

 

Monday, May 2

Rhonda Ceasor, 36, found guilty of shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $598.

Nakia Young, 19, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

 

Tuesday, May 3

Warren Clay Floyd, 28, charged with felony simple assault — domestic violence. Case dismissed with prejudice — victim does not wish to go further. Defense agrees to pay her attorney fee.

Kendrick Armstead, 28, pleaded guilty to petit larceny. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $423.

Kendrick Armstead, 28, charged with receiving stolen property — felony. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $5,000.

Johnny Ricardo Mason, 27, charged with receiving stolen property — felony. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $5,000.

John Emmanuel Brassell IV, 59, charged with burglary of a commercial building, cars, etc. On joint motion of the prosecution and defense attorney, this case is remanded to files.

Jessie M. Tolbert, 40, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held. Bond set at $30,000.

Derrick T. Jackson, 38, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 60 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $623. Bond set at $15,000.

 

Wednesday, May 4

Brittany Jackson, 25, pleaded guilty to three counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior on each count. Total fine set at $1,262.59.
