FERRIDAY — Police are searching for the person who shot a Ferriday man early Friday morning.The victim was shot at approximately 1:15 a.m. in the parking lot of the Concordia Apartments complex on Kyle Road, said Ferriday Police Chief Margaret Lawrence.

Lawrence said the victim was airlifted to Alexandria and police were unable to obtain a complete statement from the victim. Lawrence said the victim did tell police he did not know who shot him.

The victim was shot in the left leg.

“We are still investigating this shooting,” Lawrence said.
