It’s time for Cathedral Crawfish Countdown

Spring has arrived and crawfish are in season. This can only mean one thing — Cathedral’s Crawfish Countdown.

Next weekend Cathedral School will host the 32nd Annual Crawfish Countdown. Join us from 6 to 10 p.m. on May 6 at Cathedral School’s cafeteria. We will be serving all the fresh, boiled crawfish and trimmings you can eat, along with Pat Sanguinetti’s hot jambalaya and home-made desserts. In addition to the mouth-watering food, there will be great music by Brandon McCranie and a chance to win the $5,000 grand prize.

Tickets can be purchased through the Cathedral Development Office, online at www.cathedralgreenwave.com, or at the door on the night of the Crawfish Countdown. Tickets are $100, which covers two people for a night of food, drinks, music, and a chance to win $5,000. Second chance insurance is available for an additional $30. This allows your ticket, if drawn within the first 100 tickets, to be placed back in the drawing for a second chance at the grand prize of $5,000.
