Join Trinity for Claws for a Cause

The first Claws for a Cause took place last May in the street in front of Trinity Episcopal Church, and it was a wonderful success. The lobster and smoked chicken were amazing, the setting was beautiful, and the live music suited the day. With your help, we raised nearly $20,000 for outreach ministry. Thank you, Natchez, for your support! Now I’d like to invite you to return with all your friends to our block of South Commerce, because we’re doing it again!
From 5 until 9 p.m on May 15, Trinity Church will once again be serving up fresh lobster dinners to support outreach ministry. This year’s proceeds will be evenly split between Natchez Stewpot and the Special Session of Camp Bratton Green. Stewpot serves hundreds of meals to people in need daily, while Camp Bratton Green’s Special Sessions provide a wonderful week for both campers with mental and physical disabilities as well as the young counselors who serve them.
Your purchase of a $40 ticket will get you a whole lobster with corn and potatoes. If delicious Maine lobster isn’t your thing, plates with smoked chicken, baked beans and slaw are available for $20. Water, tea and lemonade will be included with the meal, with soft drinks, beer, wine and snow cones available for sale. Kids are encouraged to join us, as burgers and hotdog plates will be available for only $10. Kids will have their own play area, with plenty of fun activities to keep them busy.
If you’d like to buy tickets for Claws for a Cause, please call our church office at 601-445-8432 or visit trinitynatchez.org/lobster. The deadline for lobster ticket sales is May 1, so get your tickets soon!
