Pastor Pickett Appreciation Program is an event designed to celebrate his vision in ministry. Zion Hill No. 1 Baptist Church acknowledges his obedience to the call of preaching the word of Jesus Christ.
This is 29 years of leadership at the church.
God sent Pastor Pickett to Zion Hill. He prides himself in teaching and preaching God’s words.
He challenges listeners through theological, spiritual and pastoral insight to work on their vision and walk in their purpose. He believes that everyone is valuable and is a part of God’s family.
After 29 years of dedicated service, he still believes there is much work to be done, the church witness must be even bolder and the fires of holy worship must burn even brighter.
We thank God for Pastor Pickett and his family. His vision for the church is yet unfolding. He is devoted to becoming a disciple of and for Jesus Christ, in the church, in the community and in the world.
Pastor Pickett and first lady Mrs. Pickett invite the general public to join them as they celebrate this grand occasion at 6 p.m. Saturday. Special guests will be Pastor Ernest Ford Sr., his son Pastor Ernest Ford Jr., and the Ford’s Combined Connection Choir.
Pastor Pickett encourages his congregation to be faithful by attending Sunday school, church and Bible study. Zion Hill No. 1 Baptist Church members have felt the impact of his ministry in a powerful way. He believes that all things are possible when you serve God with all your heart and soul. Join Zion Hill No. 1 Baptist family at 6 p.m. Saturday at the church.
