Cathedral’s Chase Kaiser plays through four playoff holes

NATCHEZ — Cathedral seventh grader Chase Kaiser fell just short of the first place medal in a local golf tournament at Duncan Park Tuesday.
Kaiser tied North Pike’s Trey Rawls for the lowest individual score in the 9-hole tournament, with a 41. The two tied on three playoff holes before Rawls pared the fourth playoff hole for the overall victory.
The team tournament allowed the lowest four golfers from each team to contribute counting scores.
The North Pike squad won the tournament with a score of 185. Cathedral placed second with a score of 192. Adams County Christian School placed third with a score of 226, and Natchez High School finished fourth with a score of 229.
The Natchez girls team also played 9-holes. The Lady Bulldogs were the only girls team to play a round.Orianna Brown and Breanna Nelson shot team-low 53s for Natchez.
