Hunt stationed in Ky. as chaplain’s assistant

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. — Spc. Keldric Hunt has been stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky., where he is on active duty in the U.S. Army as a chaplain assistant.
He attended Natchez public schools and is a 2012 graduate of Ouachita Parish High School of Monroe, La. After basic training and AIT graduation in Fort Jackson, Hunt was stationed in South Korea for a year, and he recently completed deployment in Afghanistan.
Hunt has received the Air Assault Badge; Army Commendation Medal; Army Achievement Medal; Army Good Conduct Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Afghanistan Campaign Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Korean Service Defense Medal; Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal; Army Service Ribbon; NATO Medal; and the Certificate of Achievement.
Hunt is the son of Christine and the Rev. Jimmy Hargrave Jr. of Monroe, and Calvin Hunt of Natchez, and the grandson of Allean Bates and the late Jessie Bates, Lula and Charles Hunt and Helen Hargrave, all of Natchez.
