LAUREL — Cathedral High School scored single runs in each of the first three innings then added three more in the fourth en route to a 6-0 win over Laurel Christian in baseball action Tuesday.

The Green Wave received a strong pitching performance from Gabe Smith, who tossed five scoreless innings and struck out five betters.

Zach Flattman recorded two hits and two RBIs, while Andrew Beesley and Jardarius Anderson each tallied a double. Anderson added two runs in helping his team earn the win.
