NATCHEZ — Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. David Steckler has joined the medical staff of Merit Health Natchez.  Steckler is returning to his hometown of Natchez to provide cosmetic and reconstructive needs for the area.   He will provide services at a satellite clinic of the Mississippi Center for Plastic Surgery and perform some surgical procedures at the hospital.

A graduate of Millsaps College in Jackson,  Steckler received his doctorate of medicine in 2000 from The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.  He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and his plastic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, Tenn.  Steckler is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

His office will be located at 150 Jefferson Davis Blvd., Suite 110.

“I am excited to be coming home to provide a medical service that is currently not offered in this area,” Steckler said.  “I look forward to meeting new residents and reconnecting with family friends and classmates.”

Merit Health Natchez is extremely pleased to add Steckler to its medical staff, Merit Health Natchez’s Chief Executive Officer Eric Robinson said.

“His name is well known in our area for high-quality care, and we are pleased he has chosen to come home to offer his specialty,” Robinson said.
