Vivians named to journal’s list of top business women

JACKSON — Engineering firm Neel-Schaffer, Inc., announced this week that Natchez native Stephanie Sago Vivians was selected by the Mississippi Business Journal for its Top 50 Business Women Class of 2015-16.
Vivians and other members of the class will be honored during a luncheon Thursday at the Old Capitol Inn in Jackson. The honorees previously participated in a two-day retreat last fall.
Vivians has worked in Neel-Schaffer’s Jackson office since 1995, serving as a project manager and design engineer on a variety of transportation and construction engineering projects. Prior to Neel-Schaffer, she worked as a cooperative education student at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station and for the Mississippi Department of Transportation.
A 1987 graduate of North Natchez High School, Vivians received an associate’s of applied sciences degree from Hinds Community College in 1990 and a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Mississippi State University in 1995.
Vivians is the daughter of Monroe and Betty Sago of Natchez.
