Join us for annual pro-life vigil

Pro-life alert! It’s time for the 12th annual candlelight vigil for the unborn this coming Friday. This year marks 42 years since abortion was declared legal and made available on demand at any stage of pregnancy.
It seems incredible that this disregard for human life has been perpetuated for so ling, however we now have the wind at our backs. Science, information about the beginning of life and public awareness have all set the stage for the day when the most vulnerable among us, our unborn children, may be protected by laws that protect the rest of us.
We have a very special program for you this year. Our local state representative Sam Mims, who has sponsored a number of pro-life bills in our legislature, will bring us an update on the status and prospects for pro-life measure on the political front.
Also, we are looking forward to a musical presentation by Natchez’s own Hannah Belle Southerland as a special treat.
Our program will be short, only about 30 minutes, but it’s a very important half-hour.
Join us at 5:15 p.m. sharp on Friday, Jan. 22, at the gazebo on the bluff. Your presence there sends a clear message that you have respect for life and will take a stand for our unborn children. Let’s be heard!
