The recipient of the award exemplifies the best in local community service in the key issue areas of supporting and assisting the Adams County Sheriff’s Office in its efforts to protect and preserve the safety of the citizens of Adams County.
Through the awards, the ACSO learns about best practices in solution-driven community service while recognizing outstanding impact in Adams County accomplished through service and volunteering.
“The support and encouragement that we have received from Sheriff Mayfield over the past six years has made our organization successful,” Baker said.
“Before we had this great search and rescue team, endeavoring to find a lost person in Adams County was much harder. We are indebted to them for so many times and ways that they have aided our efforts. I hope that this organization will be supported in the future. They are invaluable to our community and we thank them for their immense contribution.”
