Published 11:52 pm Saturday, November 28, 2015

Christmas is upon us and what better way to get into the spirit than with songs of the season during the Natchez Festival of Music’s annual Christmas Cabaret on Friday.

The Christmas Cabaret will be directed by Joseph Britain with vocalists John Christopher Adams, Maryann Kyle and Jennifer Hart and will be narrated by Greg Iles.

Iles was born in Germany in 1960, where his father ran the U.S. Embassy Medical Clinic during the height of the Cold War. Iles spent his youth in Natchez and graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1983. Iles wrote his first novel in 1993, a thriller about Nazi war criminal Rudolf Hess, which became the first of 12 New York Times bestsellers. His novels have been made into films, translated into more than 20 languages, and published in more than 35 countries worldwide. His new epic trilogy continues the story of Penn Cage, protagonist of “The Quiet Game,” “Turning Angel,” and New York Times No. 1 bestseller “The Devil’s Punchbowl.”
