Christmas floats needed for parade

Wow, what a year!
Many of Santa’s little helpers have been hard at work planning one of Natchez’s best Christmas seasons to make it bigger and better.
With the community’s help, Natchez will have new bright decorations throughout the downtown area. Garlands will magnificently drape Franklin and Main streets, and most downtown buildings will be lined with bright majestic white lights.
The Christmas tree will be beautifully decorated downtown for us to enjoy. Our tree will be beautiful during the day as well as at night. There will be some extra events for all to enjoy the night of the lighting of the Christmas tree.
Now, we need your help. Floats are in need for the Christmas Parade which will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. This year’s theme is Christmas in Natchez, so we are asking that you get very creative and put together a float and enter your choir or organizations.
No horses, ATV or motorcycles will be allowed.
For applications, please stop by First Natchez Radio Group at 2 O’Ferrall St., visit listenupyall.com, or call me at 601-442-4895.
The holiday season can be magical, and it’s the time to bring people together and create memories. The Christmas Parade needs to be an event that we all look forward to and represents our entire community. Your participation and help will be greatly appreciated!
