NATCHEZ — A three-car crash on Lynda Lee Drive left two people injured Saturday night.

Natchez Police Department Detective Jerry Ford said Walter Jackson of Natchez was pulling out of his driveway off Lynda Lee Drive shortly after 7 p.m. when his car was struck by Levi Nealy of Denham Springs, La., driving a Kia Spectra.

Jackson’s car spun into the southbound lane toward D’Evereux Drive and was struck by a car driven by Zachary Washington of Natchez. Ford said Washington did not have time to avoid hitting Washington’s car.

While Jackson’s car was spinning, Nealy’s car flipped on the driver’s side. Nealy had to be removed from his car using the Jaws of Life, Ford said.

Washington and Nealy were transported to Merit Health Natchez with non-life threatening injuries, Ford said.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, Ford said.
