Ridgecrest man arrested on drug lab charges

RIDGECREST — A Ridgecrest man was arrested Wednesday after officers found elements of an alleged drug lab in his residence.
During a search of Larry F. Jackson Jr.’s, 43, 101 Orange Ave., Ridgecrest residence Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office narcotics deputies allegedly found cooking paraphernalia and several precursor elements of methamphetamine.
Jackson was charged with the creation or operation of a clandestine lab and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also found to have an active warrant from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
No bond has been set as of Friday evening.
The investigation is currently ongoing and further charges are pending.
