With all of this talk of fall and everything changing for autumn, the members of the Natchez Garden Club are working with our noses to the grindstone to make this year’s Fall Bash better than ever.

As always, NGC’s Fall Bash is organized every year to help fund the improvements of Magnolia Hall and the House on Ellicott’s Hill. With the beginning stages of the renovations of Magnolia Hall underway, we are turning our focus to the Hall on the grounds of Ellicott Hill. All of the funds raised from this year’s Fall Bash will go directly back into Ellicott Hall in order to make it the perfect venue perched high on top of the Natchez bluff.

Scheduled for Thursday, this year’s Bash will be held at Ellicott Hall in downtown Natchez at 211 North Canal Street. Don’t worry, there will be a driving system to help you get up the hill if you are not able to climb the stairs located on Canal Street or from the Lawyer’s Lodge parking lot. With the silent auctions kicking off at 5:30 p.m., be sure to get yourself in the door to start your bidding and continue throughout the evening when we shut it down at 7:30 p.m.

This year’s event is not only going to wow you with our packages up for grabs but also going to entertain you with the acoustic musical stylings of Drew David and Bubba McCabe. These boys are ready to play some of your favorites while you sit back, enjoy time with friends, and make a few bids along the way.

Some of this year’s packages include: a trip to a fabulous and exclusive cottage in Gatlinburg, Tennessee; tickets to an upcoming LSU home football game with tons of items to help with your tailgate; a photo session with T.G. McCary to capture your precious moments with loved ones; the opportunity to host a party at Ellicott Hall once it is refurbished; a shopping spree throughout Natchez; items to help spruce up your home; and tons of goodies from different stores and restaurants in the Natchez area. We are thrilled to have a cash bar courtesy of Southwest Distributors and E & J Gallo Winery and appetizers from several local eateries!

We are so excited about all that this year’s event has to offer, and we hope to see everyone there. With tickets only $15 a person, how can you say no to this event? So mark your calendar, get a babysitter, and head on down to Ellicott Hall for this year’s Fall Bash!
