Couple charged in stabbing of Adams County man

NATCHEZ — A couple arrested in Concordia Parish Monday allegedly fled the scene of a recent stabbing on Redd Loop Road in Natchez.
Kenneth Creel Jr., 41, 806 Mississippi 850, Columbia, was charged with attempted murder and his girlfriend Breezy Lanil Keith, 37, 648 Indian Village Road, Clayton, was charged with accessory after the fact to attempted murder following a fight between Creel and Keith’s ex-boyfriend Robert King.
Adams County Sheriff’s Office deputy Cal Green said Keith and Creel drove to King’s residence on Redd Loop Road to retrieve Keith’s belongings when Creel and King allegedly got into a fight that ended with Creel allegedly stabbing King in the abdomen and in the arm,
King was transported by ambulance to the Merit Health Community Hospital campus where he was later flown to University Medical Center in Jackson for further treatment.
After the stabbing, the couple reportedly escaped in their truck. Witnesses said that a third suspect was also in the truck at the time. Keith and Creel were suspected to have fled to Concordia Parish.
Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Creel and Keith after the couple turned themselves in, Green said.
The couple signed extradition waivers and was transferred to the Adams County Jail.
Keith was released on a $75,000 bond Wednesday afternoon.
