I would like to encourage Adams County voters to vote for and re-elect James E. Lee as our coroner.

He was first elected Adams County coroner 16 years ago and for the first time established a physical coroner’s office. He acquired the first coroner transport vehicle and also established the first ever computerized record system for the coroner’s office.

Mr. Lee has investigated more than 5,000 cases and as a certified law enforcement officer he works well with and compliments local law enforcement agencies and the District Attorney’s office.

When Mr. Lee first started as our coroner he recruited several local physicians, including me, to act as volunteer medical advisors. He has always been very thorough in his investigations and does not hesitate to consult his physician advisors.

I have known James Lee since he and I worked together for several years in the hospital emergency department almost 30 years ago.

I have always known him to be an intelligent, honest, hardworking person with empathy and concern for other people. The people of Adams County would do very well to keep James Lee in charge of the office of Coroner.
