Reward offered for return of club

The purpose of this letter to the editor is to solicit the assistance of your readers in recovering a 100-plus-year-old Billy Club that belonged to a friend of mine’s grandfather.
The club, obviously, has sentimental value at a high premium. I borrowed the club to use as a prop when portraying Constable Locke in the Natchez Little Theatre production of “The Music Man.”
The club disappeared during intermission last Saturday night from the ticket desk at the main entrance to the theater.
The club is 15 inches of brown wood with a double wrist strap and a grooved grip.
The incident has been reported to law enforcement on both sides of the river.
If returned (601-807-2527), no action will be taken and a $100 reward will be offered.
Again, the Billy Club has a high sentimental value and its return would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
