Appropriately entitled, “Adventures at Sea, Diving Deeper for God’s Treasures,” students will be taught how to uncover marvelous pearls of wisdom by diving deeper in God’s word.

God’s commandments, judgments and statutes are recorded for our spiritual edification. First Timothy 3:6 states, “All scriptures are giving in inspiration of God and profitable for doctrine, reproof for instruction in righteousness.” To be astute in the comprehension and application of these teachings requires more than a cursory glance. It takes a determined effort to dive deeper to fully realize its true meanings.

Reports of sunken treasure chests containing inestimable amounts of gold coins, jewelry and other commodities have been located on the ocean’s floor. These discoveries could not have been successful had the divers limited their exploratory searches to the shallow perimeters of the water’s edge. Instead, they were the result of diligent research needed to orchestrate a dive miles deep through massive volume of water to retrieve their bounty. Once displayed, we marvel at the exquisite beauty of their findings.

As today’s youths navigate the tumultuous waters of adolescence, it is imperative that a solid spiritual foundation is laid to positively influence their decisions. Vacation Bible School provides an opportunity for students to be taught how to dive deeper in Bible truths and incorporate these findings in their lives.

The classes are conducted in a fun-filled environment complete with Christian leadership and fellowship. A host of activities are planned including musical acts, recreation, and arts and crafts. A fishing expedition, picnic in the park and daily lunch is also scheduled.

However, in order for this to be an enjoyable event, we need the support of volunteers, like you. We need teachers, bus drivers, recreational directors, food preparers, registration and more. Your investment in time with our youths will pay dividends, for them and you.

So don your scuba gear and join us for our “Adventures at Sea, Diving Deeper for God’s Treasures”, two-week Vacation Bible school.

For additional information, please call Pastor John W. Scott Jr. or Sis Theresa Hall at Christian Hope BC, 601-445-5995. We will be looking forward to seeing you there.
