Come ‘Cruisin’ for St. Jude Saturday

On Saturday, June 13, the First Annual “Cruisin’ For St. Jude” benefit will begin in Natchez to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
All proceeds from the Cruisin’ for St. Jude benefit will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Children from every state, including Mississippi, benefit from life-saving research and procedures at St. Jude.
We ask that everyone please consider dedicating June 13 to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and to children who are in need of St. Jude’s services. You won’t find a more deserving organization for your donation of time, efforts and contributions.
Discoveries made at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital have changed the way the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. St. Jude Hospital is home for some of the world’s most gifted researchers. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped increase the overall childhood cancer survival rate since it opened in 1962. St. Jude shares medical breakthroughs. For every child saved at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, doctors and scientists worldwide share that medical knowledge to save thousands more.
There is no other facility like St. Jude Hospital and its staff of professional medical caregivers. It is a beacon of hope for many families during their darkest hour. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude Hospital for treatment, travel, housing or food. The majority of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s funding comes from individual contributors. We need your participation to make this a successful fund drive for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The Cruisin’ for St. Jude benefit includes a roadblock with volunteers asking for donations for St. Jude’s Research Hospital Friday morning, June 12, and a cruise on June 13, that winds from Natchez to New Roads, La., and on to Jackson, La., where those involved will enjoy food, raffles, door prizes and entertainment.
Motorcycles, convertibles, Jeeps, new cars, old cars, new trucks, old trucks, vans, SUVs, buses, car clubs and more are urged to join the cruise. We need individuals and families to participate this year and in years to come.
To register your vehicle for the Cruisin’ for St. Jude benefit, or to receive a schedule of the event, contact Constable Randy Freeman at 601-442-2459.
