Barber to start work as systems engineer in Mo.

KANSAS CITY — Natchez native Kelvin Barber has been hired by Cerner Corporation of Kansas City as a system engineer.
Braber graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi this month with a degree in information technology, and will work with Linux to update systems and software used in hospitals.
Barber said he will be doing more than just sitting behind a computer. “I will be working with a team of other system engineers to build strategies for solving problems within the system,” he said.
