SAN ANTONIO — Air Force Airman Kadesia D. Thomas graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program, which included military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Thomas is the daughter of Johnnie Thomas of Baker, La., and Ethel Rosenthal of Ferriday, La. She is the granddaughter of Evangelist Ethel Rosenthal of Clayton, La.

Thomas is a 2012 graduate of Vidalia High School.
