FLOWOOD — Dr. Carrie M. Iles has been appointed as the chairwoman of the Council on Nominations, Awards and Education for the Mississippi Dental Association.

The council oversees all awards and the selection process for recognitions bestowed by the MDA.

Dental education programs and MDA approval of continuing education programs are also administered by the council.

Iles has been providing dental care in Natchez since 1993. She is a past president of District VI of the MDA and past president of the Rotary Club of Natchez.
