Catholic Schools Week is approaching rapidly.

There is so much planning and preparing going on at Holy Family Learning Center, as we begin a weeklong celebration of Catholic Schools Week.

The theme is ongoing from last year, “Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service.” The observance starts today and continues through Saturday.

Throughout the week, teachers and students will round up academic excellence, wearing western attire and a big boot kick off.

It’s no secret Holy Family provides quality instruction to promote the development of well-rounded individuals who can make positive contributions to society; thus, upgrading the morals and values of our community.

Hats off to our directors, teachers and staff, volunteers and community for their contributions to our school and students.

We know that in order to make a smooth transition into the next academic year, 2015-16, we have to prepare for our incoming students, as well as our returning students.

Registration will begin Monday and continue through Feb. 27.

The registration fee is $100. After Friday, Feb. 27, the fee will increase to $150.

We are trying to recruit, reclaim and retain our students.

We invite you to come and share with us this week.

Our schedule for this year’s Catholic Schools Week is:

Monday — student appreciation day.

Tuesday — parent appreciation day.

Wednesday — teacher appreciation day.

Thursday — alumni, friends, pastor day.

Friday — community service day.

We look forward to seeing you one of those days. Our slogan is, “Live so we can love so we can learn.”
