I have played piano for many years, and it is always a pleasure to hear someone with such accolades as David Howath.
Originally from the United Kingdom and now based in Dallas, David Howarth is considered one of the most versatile and exciting young pianists around today. Come to the Concordia Bank Lobby in Vidalia at 7 p.m. Thursday and enjoy David Howarth as he dazzles you with his uncompromising virtuosity on all 88 keys of the piano.
From Scott Joplin to John Williams and from Liberace to Elton John, David is sure to entertain you whatever your musical tastes may be.
For the past 10 years, he has been performing his spectacular piano shows all over the world and he has performed for royalty and celebrities including George Clooney, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones and music critics have described him as a “pianist of distinction.”
Music critics have also commented on his impressive technique and incredible composure and control. His repertoire caters for all ages from beautiful classical piano music to all your favorite jazz, Latin, new age, movie and popular music through to the latest pop and country hits of today.
You are cordially invited to the library’s first concert of 2015 with great piano music at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Concordia Bank in Vidalia. It will be great time to enjoy great piano music in your community. This concert is made possible through Comfort Suites Riverfront and Salon, Concordia Bank and Trust Co. and “block booking” through the Louisiana Partnership for the Arts’ Presenters Network and funded by the Arts Council of Central Louisiana, the Arts Council of Northeast Louisiana and Louisiana Division of the Arts.
This performance is free and open to the public.
