NATCHEZ — Natchez Community Hospital and Natchez Regional Medical Center welcome new chief financial officer (CFO) Bryan Meurer.

Meurer graduated from Murray State University with an undergraduate degree in accounting and a master’s degree in accounting. He is also a certified public accountant.

After college, Meurer spent five years working for Ernst & Young. Bryan spent the first five years of his career with Community Health Systems — the hospitals’ parent company — in the corporate office. He continued his CHS career as an assistant CFO and interim CFO before being named CFO of Natchez Community Hospital and Natchez Regional Medical Center.

Meurer and his wife Jennifer have two children, Jake and Ella.

“We’re excited about returning to the south and planting roots here in Natchez,” Meurer said. “Natchez is a perfect place to raise our children and we look forward to becoming part of the community.”
