Let’s show support for community

There are many issues with the (Adams County Sheriff’s Office) building as well as other aging buildings in our area. Building from scratch would be a welcome solution to solve problems concerning all around health of employees and those who are here for their short stay to wherever else they may end up.

Privacy, personnel capacity, moral and the bones of the structure would be able to meet the needs of employees and inmates alike.

I do believe combining all branches of law enforcement and rescue would certainly aid in communications and so many other difficulties.

Relocating to an updated/safer/more secure building is an alternative that could successfully improve productivity, as well. Sadly, doing nothing stops right there. I’m sure all departments are doing the best with what they have but solving problems have positive results. Support, rather than negativity, shows a united community and gives those who have diligently trained to protect and serve this community the tools they need to do so with safety for themselves and others, as well as, needed success in revamping our beloved Adams County.

Or, our community could stop it’s foolishness and uphold and support our laws and show the intelligence I am sure we possess and make good decisions that our grandparents taught us.

Sadly, our children are going in direction of blaming anyone else they can instead of solving problems and making Natchez-Adams County the great place it once was.

I was very proud to grow up here, but I have many concerns about my children raising their families here. We have always been a town known for our individuality, so why not break the trend of disrupting a productive community and go for broke?

Join together and make our beautiful community the amazing place it once was.
