The St. Catherine Street Area Reunion looks forward to sharing laughter, hugs, and memories of old landmarks.
Wow. It’s that time once again, and everyone is excited as they look forward to the third annual St. Catherine Street Reunion. This joyous event will be at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The day will be infused with many spiritual and fun-filled activities. Starting at 10 a.m., Kathleen Washington Dunbar and Jerome Miles will minister to us through songs and powerful words of encouragement.
Praise God for his love and awesome anointment. He will pour out on us at the Greater Mt. Sinai B.C. on St. Catherine Street.
Our spiritual soul having been fed, we will march right on down to the park and feast on delicious barbecue and many tasty soul food side dishes.
I hope you are hungry. There will be plenty for all.
A big thank you to the Natchez Fire Department. The children and perhaps a few adults will enjoy a cool splash from their sprinkler.
Also, they will release some energy in the space jump.
Certainly we anxiously await seeing old friends and acquaintances plus revisit memories of old landmarks such as the Fork of the Road, old Brumfield School and dare we forget Mr. Joe Grocery Store. Remember those big old stage plants and him giving us the end cuts of his bologna/salami?
This being my first time, I hope you are as excited as I am.
Just a reminder, it is still not too late to order T-shirts.
Just contact Larry Wesley at 601-445-9040.
So until Saturday, continue to be blessed and we’ll see you, you and you.
Deloris Hall T. Anderson is the assistance secretary of the St. Catherine Street Area Reunion.
