ACSO deputies complete computer systems training

NATCHEZ — Adams County Sheriff’s Office deputies completed annual systems management training and updates the week of Aug. 18.
Martin Elder, a software engineer and president of M&M Microsystems of Maryville, Tenn., who has designed law enforcement operating systems for 28 years, brought his expertise and software updates and training to deputies and administrative staff in the mandatory Monday through Friday training sessions.
The ACSO’s Management System, called SOMShas many different modules to assist in the collection, approval and dissemination of criminal activity data. Some of these modules include accidents, animal control, citations, civil process, complaint cards, incident reporting, K9 incidents and missing or wanted persons.
