NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Willie L. Bell, 93, of Natchez, who died Monday, July 21, 2014, at Promise Hospital of the Miss-Lou, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Birdon Mitchell Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Monday at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Bude and 9 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the church.

 

Mr. Bell was born Feb. 20, 1921, in Memphis, the son of Clarence and Marie Reason. He was a mason and a World War II veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Elsie M. Bell.

Survivors include one daughter, Shirley A. Bell; two sons, Ernest Bell and wife Cleopathia and Clarence L. Bell and wife Juanita; one grandson, Ernest Bell Jr., and a number of friends.
