Foreman graduates basic training at Fort Benning

COLUMBUS, Ga. — Army Spc. Jared A. Foreman has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness and first aid.

The training also included Army history, core values and traditions, as well asl development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics, and experience using the various weapons and weapons defenses available to the infantry crewman.

Foreman is the son of Peggy B. Foreman of St. Joseph.

He is a 1997 graduate of Archbishop Shaw High School, Marrero, La.
