LISMORE — Services for Audrey M. Varner, 86, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, July 10, 2014, in Ferriday, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Lismore Baptist Church with the Rev. Byron Gray officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.

Mrs. Varner was born Sept. 22, 1927, in Prescott, Ark., the daughter of Hermon and Allene Morris.

She was a resident of Jonesville and a member of Lismore Baptist Church.

She worked at Burn’s Shoe Store for many years. She had a love for people, fishing and gardening.

Mrs. Varner was preceded in death by her husband, Barrett Varner; her parents; one son, Barry Varner; one daughter, Bonny Beth Varner; and one sister, Murline Morris.

Survivors include her cousins, Kathy Mackey of Longview, Texas, and Joann Green of Martin, Texas.

Pallbearers will be her Sunday school class.
