NATCHEZ — The Natchez Dixie Youth 10-year-old all-stars won its sub-district against the Lincoln Americans Wednesday night, and will compete for the district title Friday.

Natchez beat the Lincoln Americans 16-1 in five innings, which advanced them to the title game to fight for the No. 1 spot in the district.

Zeke Flattman was the winning pitcher for Natchez, tallying three strikeouts and three hits in three innings.

Zehlin Cornett closed out the game in the final two innings with two strikeouts and four hits.

Natchez will play the McComb Americans in a best of three series beginning at 6 p.m. Friday at Carroll Jones field at Duncan Park.
