FAYETTE — Services for Pearlena Patterson, 58, of Fayette, who died Monday, June 30, 2014, at Jefferson County Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jefferson Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Lloyd Bailey officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Patterson was born March 13, 1957, in Jefferson County, the son of Evans and Dorothy Ware Patterson.

She was a member of Jefferson Chapel Choir, Stewardess Board Missionary Society, assistant secretary in Linwood LFC.

Ms. Patterson was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors include one son, Kevin Patterson of Bronx, N.Y.; one granddaughter, Kenyata Patterson of Mobile; one brother, Ralph Patterson and wife, Rose, of Natchez; one sister, Gertrude Norman of Natchez; two aunts, Julia Ware of Church Hill and Matilda Jackson and husband, James, of Newellton; and a number of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
