NATCHEZ — Services for John Albert “Chilly” Scott Jr., 69, of Natchez, who died Monday, June 28, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Floyd E. Chambers officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Scott was born April 25, 1945, in Natchez, the son of John Albert Scott Sr. and Annie Redden.

He was a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his parents; and grandmother who raised him, Susie Magee.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Hadley Scott; one daughter, Yvonne Scott; two grandsons, Tracy Wingo and Tyler Wingo; two brothers, Raymond Paige and Paul Scott; eight sisters, Willie Bea Robinson, Shirley Simpson, Doris Jones, Adell Dennis, Joyce Scott, Debbie Redden, Darlene Pole, Diane Redden and Marcella Brown; and a number of nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
