Delta Bank announces six internal promotions

VIDALIA — R. Edwin Haworth, president and CEO of Delta Bank, recently announced promotions for Delta Bank employees.
Deborah Dickinson has been promoted to banking officer.
Dickinson has been employed with Delta Bank for 10 years as executive assistant. She has 40 years of experience in various fields that compliment her position with Delta Bank. A graduate of Liberty High School, Dickinson attended Co-Lin Community College in Natchez, and has completed a number of courses in real estate and real estate appraisals.
Dickinson is a resident of Natchez. She has one daughter. She loves animals and has a large family of four-legged friends, including five horses. Dickinson is a member of the Natchez Bicycle Club and spends many hours enjoying riding. She is a member of Centreville Baptist Church.
Pam Hall has been named senior vice president. A native of Concordia Parish, Hall joined Delta Bank in 1979 and has served in numerous capacities throughout her career. In addition to her responsibilities as manager of the Ferriday office, Hall also serves as consumer and commercial lender.
Hall is a native of Concordia Parish and an active member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She resides in Ferriday with her husband, William Hall, and their daughter.
Susan Hinson has been promoted to banking officer and branch manager of the Vidalia office. Hinson joined Delta Bank in 2007.
Prior to working at Delta Bank, Hinson was employed for 24 years with ALCOA. She is a native of Vidalia and a graduate of Vidalia High School. Hinson has completed The Banker’s School for Supervisory Training.
Hinson is married to Denny Hinson. She enjoys spending time with her two sons and their families. The Hinsons are active members of Vidalia First Baptist Church. She also enjoys volunteering for fundraisers and high school sports events.
Leslie Hunt has also been promoted to banking officer. Employed with Delta Bank since 2006, Hunt was named manager of the loan operations department in 2013. She is a graduate of Natchez High School. She began her career in finance at American General Finance in 1994.
Hunt resides in Vidalia with her two children. She is very active in her community and volunteers each year for Relay for Life, the Jim Bowie Festival, the NRA Banquet and the NWTF Banquet. She also participates in the AWANA program at First Baptist Church in Vidalia, where she and her family are members.
Shannon O. Parker has been promoted to vice president and compliance officer.
Parker has been employed by Delta Bank since 2006 as manager of the loan operations department until she accepted the position of compliance officer in 2013. She has more than 19 years banking experience in both deposit and loan areas.
A graduate of Vidalia High School, Parker attended the University of Louisiana in Monroe, and has earned a Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer designation from the Independent Community Bankers of America.
Parker is a resident of Natchez. She is married to Fred Parker and they have two sons. The Parkers attend Natchez First Presbyterian Church. Parker is also a member of the Natchez Rotary Club.
Ouida Pecanty, promoted to vice president, has been employed with Delta Bank since 1999.
Pecanty oversees all electronic banking customer services including Internet banking, mobile banking, bill pay and telephone banking. She also serves as marketing director and deposit manager.
A graduate of Monterey High School and Copiah-Lincoln Community College, she has also attended the Banker’s School for Supervisory Training and completed a number of courses with the American Bankers Association.
Pecanty is currently serving her second term as president of the Concordia Chamber of Commerce and represents Delta Bank at numerous civic and community activities. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters and four grandchildren.
