NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Della Bernice Sumrall, 91, of Natchez, who died Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Promise Rehab Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Brewer officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sumrall was born July 5, 1922, in Ruth, the daughter of Franklin Newton Greer and Emma Attaway Greer.

Mrs. Sumrall was preceded in death by her husband and father of her three children, Orville U. Rushing; her husband later in life, Paul L. Sumrall; her parents; four brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include one son, Nick Alan Rushing; two daughters, Gloria J. Taylor of Natchez, and Sandra Burns and husband, Bob, of Mena, Ark.; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Steve Boyd, Stacy Boyd, Bob Burns, David Smith, Grady Reeves and Jimmy June.
