VIDALIA — Services for Daisy Belle Washington Johnson, 61, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Troy Thomas officiating.

Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Johnson was born July 1, 1952, in Ferriday, the daughter of Alex and Lettie Carter Washington.

Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Washington, three sisters, Jenny Washington, Ollie Sasper and Mary Jones; and one grandchild, Shelton Fisher.

Survivors include two sons, Maurice Washington and Henry Simpson, both of Vidalia; six brothers, Albert Washington, Johnny Washington, Jessie Washington, Larry Washington, Freddie Washington, Glenn Washington, all of Ferriday; three sisters, Rosie Smith of Olive Branch, Shirley Randall and Diane Shannon, both of Vidalia; seven grandchildren, Devonte Fisher, Demaria Fisher, Cardrick Hawkins, Jerius Scott, Jatoya Washington, Joshua Dixon and Miya Leonard; two aunts, and a number of nephews, nieces and cousins.
