Recently, we had our fourth annual “Spay-ghetti & No Balls Lunch.” We had a few donations to trickle in and now with everything added up, we raised a total of $2,785 for the spay/neuter voucher program for the Natchez area offered through Mississippi Spay and Neuter.

Thank you to everyone who was able to support this fundraiser — either through advertising, selling tickets, purchasing a plate, making a donation or volunteering the day of.

We truly appreciate our sponsors, and we thank each of you for helping make this a successful fundraiser.

Thank you, Al Strickland, for always coming through to make your incredible marinara, which sells these plates. I always look forward to my “Spay-ghetti” plate for dinner after the fundraiser.

Everyone always looks forward to something sweet after a great meal.

Thank you to everyone working in the kitchen getting all the plates out. Y’all are such an awesome team. We sold more than 225 plates.

I always fear I have forgotten someone when I send out this thank you note — always hoping I have not.

But I am very thankful to each of you for helping with a cause very dear to my heart.

Natchez will now be able to help/encourage nearly 200 families over the next year to spay or neuter their pets.

This will only help reduce the number of animals coming into our shelter.
