NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Edith Jones Anderson, 85, who died Wednesday, June 4, 2014, in Vicksburg, were at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Shiloh Baptist Church in Natchez with the Rev. Justin Conner officiating.

Burial followed in Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.

Mrs. Anderson was born Jan. 21, 1929 in Meadville, the daughter of Norman Jones Sr. and Alice Hickombottom Jones.

She was retired.

She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and a member of Victory Chapter No. 4 Order of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Anderson Sr.; her parents; one son, Fred Anderson Jr.; one brother, Norman Jones Sr.; and one sister, Bobbie Lillie Jones.

Survivors include her caregiver, Norma Reed Moore; and a number of nephews, nieces, cousins and in-laws.
