FERRIDAY — Services for Sandra Elaine Richards, 51, of Monterey, who died Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Columns Nursing Home, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. John Betts officiating.

Burial will follow in Oswalt Cemetery in Lismore under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Richards was born Sept. 1, 1962, in Natchez, the daughter of Robert Lee Brown and Elma Jones Brown.

She was a resident of Monterey and a member of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Richards was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Tim Richards; one son, Robert C. Hargon of Monterey; one daughter, Alicia Wilson and husband, Clint, of Lafayette; two grandsons, Kaiser and Kohen Wilson; one granddaughter, Karsyn Wilson; one sister, Wenda Gail Langley of Wesson; two step-daughters, Melissia Smith and husband Curtis, of Monterey, and Kathryn McElwee and husband Travis, of Vidalia; one step-grandson, Weston Smith; and special friends, Judy Ruch Ballard, Gayle Smith, Amanda Moore and many others.

Pallbearers will be Mike Willis, Stanley Murray, Hunter Bradford, Oneal Whiggington, Tyler Moore and Jordan Moore.

Honorary pallbearers will be Perry Pecanty and Red Tiffee.
