Pomeroy named to Miss. Airports Association board

JACKSON — At its annual conference this month the Mississippi Airports Association selected new board members for the 2014-15 term, including Clint Pomeroy of Natchez.
Other new members are Clint Johnson, executive director of Cleveland Municipal Airport and Mac McManus, executive director of University-Oxford Airport.
Pomeroy, executive director of the Natchez-Adams County Airport, has served numerous times on the MAA board, and Johnson and McManus will be serving their first terms. Also re-elected to serve a second consecutive term was Sam Washington, executive director of Vicksburg Municipal Airport.
The board thanked Tom Heanue for his outstanding leadership serving as president for the past two years. Heanue is the executive director of Hattiesburg-Laurel Regional Airport.
The Mississippi Airports Association is a consortium of individuals and organizations interested in enhancing aviation in Mississippi.
Members include those involved in airport management as well as consultants, business people and members of government aviation agencies.
The purpose of MAA is to promote aviation and airport interests, to provide a medium for discussion by its members, to promote proper legislation for aviation and airports and to advise and give consultation to its members when requested.
