Grinnell earns bachelor’s in healthcare from U of P

NATCHEZ — Shemika Lynette Grinnell of Natchez recently graduated from the University of Phoenix with her bachelor’s in healthcare.
Grinnell is a 2001 graduate of Natchez High School, a 2003 graduate of Co-Lin with a certificate as a healthcare assistant, a 2010 graduate of the University of Phoenix with an associate’s degree in healthcare with the concentration of health management.
On May 3 she received her bachelor’s of science, in healthcare administration with the concentration of health management.
A Natchez native, Grinnell is the granddaughter of the late Ethel Skipper and Aaron Parker and the daughter of Theresa Grinnell of Natchez.
She is the mother of three daughters Anaya Grinnell, Arianna Grinnell and Maya Lewis of Natchez.
She anticipates furthering her education with a master’s and doctoral degree in healthcare and relocating to pursue her career in healthcare.
