VIDALIA — Services for Willie Clay, 81, of Vidalia, who died Friday, May 16, 2014, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Baptist Church in Vidalia, with the Rev. Michael White officiating.
Burial will follow in Vidalia City Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Clay was born Oct. 7, 1932, in Black Hawk, the son of Dubly and Tempie Goffner Clay.
Mr. Clay was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Clay; six sons, Brian Derozan and wife, Hattie, Junior Derozan and wife, Janet, Joseph Derozan, Chris Hagon and wife, Brenda, all of Vidalia, Dewyne Brown and wife, Shawn, of Natchez, and Troy Brown and wife, Shem, of Jackson, and Joseph Dee who he raised as his own son; two daughters, Ruby Woodfork of Vidalia and Willie Dell Bowman of Alexandria; and a number of other relatives and friends.
