Area educator completes doctoral work at Walden

WOODVILLE — Stephanie Scott-Sullivan of Woodville will graduate this summer from Walden University in National Harbor, Md., with her doctoral degree in education.
Sullivan is a 1990 graduate of Wilkinson County High School, a 1996 graduate of Alcorn State University with a bachelor’s degree in educational psychology with emphasis in elementary education, a 1998 graduate of Alcorn State University with a master’s degree in school guidance education with emphasis in special education and a 2011 graduate of Walden University majoring in teacher leadership with a specialist degree.
She will earn her doctor of education in teacher leadership this summer.
Sullivan is the daughter of Clarence Scott of Woodville and Annie Bell McFarland of Baton Rouge. She is the wife of the Rev. Otis B. Sullivan, the mother of two daughters, Summer and Skyelar Sullivan and one son, Cameron Sullivan of Baton Rouge.
She is a certified employee in the Wilkinson County School District as the early elementary community-based inclusion/self-contained teacher serving four schools under the auspices of the special services department.
