NATCHEZ — Services for Flora Mae “Pat” Jones, 59, of Dallas, formerly of Sibley, who died Monday, May 5, 2014, at Brentwood Nursing Facility in Dallas, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with the Rev. James Brooks officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 5:45 p.m. today with a “Celebration of Life” wake service at 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Jones was born Dec. 21, 1954, in Natchez, the daughter of Samuel Wells and Mary Jones McGee.

She grew up in the Sibley community and was educated in the Natchez-Adams School District and graduated from South Natchez High School in 1974 and from Natchez Junior College in 1976.

She was a member of the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Sibley.

She enjoyed gardening.

Ms. Jones was preceded in death by her parents; and step-father, Elliot McGee Sr.

Survivors include two sons, Ricardo Jones and wife, Candice, of Arlington, Texas, and Rodney Jones and wife, Dee, of Vidalia; three sisters, Shirley Jones of Dallas, Thelma Jones Credit and husband, James, and Barbara J. Washington, all of Natchez; three grandsons, Marquis, Kameron and Christian Jones; one step-grandson, Christian Thomas; three step-brothers, Johnny McGee, Elliot McGee Jr. and wife, Margie, and Willie McGee and wife, Priscilla; three step-sisters, Mattie Arbuthnot and husband, Wilson, Rosie Butler and Barbara Cage and husband, Harry; one great aunt, Ellen Ellis; cousin, Annie Mae Wilson; nephew, Gregory Robinson; niece, Charma D. Washington; three step-nephews, Dwight McGee, Daryl McGee and Kewayne McGee; and a number of other relatives and friends.
