VIDALIA — Services for Eddie Warner Jr., 84, of Vidalia, who died Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephens Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymond Riley officiating.

Burial will follow in Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Warner was born Jan. 20, 1930, in Vidalia, the son of Eddie Warner Sr. and Alberta Washington Warner.

He was a carpenter.

Mr. Warner was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Rosa Lee Hampton Warner; three sons, Charles Warner of Vidalia, Eddie Warner III and wife, Brenda, of Norfork, Va. and Melvin Warner Sr. and wife, Wanda, of Zachary; six daughters, Patricia Warner, Cathy Collins and husband, Johnny, all of Natchez, Rosa Warner, Linda Lou Warner and Brenda Longmire and husband, Paul, all of Vidalia, Eloise Lyles and husband, Michael, of Ridgecrest; one brother, Frank Warner Sr. and wife, Sammie; three sisters, Francis Wagner and Johnnie Mae Lyons and husband, Ernest, all of Vidalia, and Alberta Bruster of Ferriday; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.
