NATCHEZ — Services for Mary Maxine Pritchard, 81, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of Natchez, who died May 10, 2014, in Cape Coral, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pritchard was born Sept. 24, 1932, in Brookhaven, the daughter of Edgar and Cordie Smith.
Mrs. Pritchard and her husband, Alfred, raised their four children in Natchez.
Other than being a loving mother and wife, she also drove a school bus for Adams County schools, was a special education teacher and worked at Diamond International in Natchez.
She and her family enjoyed their summer vacations at their camp house in Deer Park.
Mrs. Pritchard was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Lee Pritchard; her parents; one daughter, Debra Nall; two brothers, Sheldon and Hugh Smith; one sister, Dorothy.
Survivors include her two sons, Daniel Pritchard and wife, Young, of Annandale, Va., and Larry Pritchard and wife, Carolyn, of Cape Coral; one daughter, Becky Burnett and husband, Danny, of Dowelton, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Justin and Jeremy, of Dowelton, Christopher Pritchard and wife, Tina, of Ashburn, Va., and Thomas Pritchard of Centreville, Va.; two great-grandchildren, Madeline of Dowelton and Olivia of Ashburn; and two sisters, Thedarae Kirkland and Nancy Boswell, both of McCall Creek.
